Tudor Stefan and Alicia Ivory are set to lead 'Reboot,' a short film from writer-director Nathan Gomez. The film, which will shoot in Arklow, Co. Wicklow, is being produced on behalf of Bray Institute of Further Education.
Stefan will play August, a newborn artificial intelligence highly influenced by what he sees on screen.
Ivory will play April, a testing examiner who guides participants on their journey of emotional discovery and self-identity.
Gomez: Casting wasn't very difficult as I knew that I wanted Tudor and Alicia to play both August and April respectively. A few months beforehand, I had them read a scene I wrote in the spirit of the film, and was intrigued by what they both brought to it. So, when it came time to cast, I was fortunate enough that they were eager to be a part of the film. Their dedication to their craft and these characters are something that I hope comes across in the film, introducing them to a whole new audience.
